Implementation and evaluation of a COVID-19 vaccine program in a rural setting
Significant challenges exist in vaccinating people with HIV for COVID-19. Our RWPC program set out to implement and evaluate a vaccine initiative for COVID-19 for people with HIV. We achieved vaccine rates of 78 percent being fully vaccinated by December 1, 2021 and 30 percent having a third dose.

Improving Sexual Health among Adolescents and Young Adults
The Adolescent Quality Learning Network (AQLN) identified barriers to sexual health care in four areas: sexual health assessment; receipt of sexual health counseling; three-site STI testing; and receipt of STI treatment. The AQLN then tested approaches to address the identified barriers including opt-out testing, self-rectal swabs, and creating a sex positive environment in the clinic. The Positive Peers app motivates youth and young adults with HIV to stay engaged in HIV care through self-management tools and virtual support.
