"In It Together" is designed to improve health outcomes along the HIV care continuum by developing health literate organizations and promoting health literacy as a component of culturally appropriate service delivery.

Through this project, 100 trainers from 34 communities are providing tailored health literacy training to local health professionals and organizations. Trainings are designed to help health professionals apply health literate approaches and provide health literate services that help clients living with HIV obtain, process, and understand health information and services. Print materials are also available. The project’s print materials are designed to initiate health literate conversations between and among health professionals and people living with HIV.

JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) is implementing this project under contract #U69HA30143 with the Health Resources and Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
