Description

This practical guide was developed by Ryan White program nutritionists to assist health care providers and people with HIV to make good nutrition (eating good food) a part of health care. This extensive manual includes practical tools and algorithms for providers, and patient handouts. Topics covered include nutritional screening and assessment, nutritional tips for coping with treatment side effects such as nausea and diarrhea, guidance for women, children, and references. There are some text selections in Spanish.
