Description

Steps for AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAP) to undertake in preparing for and responding to emergencies in order to ensure there is continued access to HIV medications in disaster situations. Sections cover: conducting a risk assessment (to inform parties what is needed in a plan); identifying stakeholders; evaluation/shelter considerations; staff and client emergency planning needs; and creation of a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP). Sample emergency plans from several states are included.
