12.02.09: Updated adult/adolescent antiretroviral guidelines. Key revisions include: revised recommendations for earlier initiation of antiretroviral therapy, recommended regimens for treatment-naïve patients, new section on considerations when managing patients with HIV-2 infection, more specific recommendations on when to use genotypic versus phenotypic resistance testing to guide therapy.
11.20.09: CAREWare build 442, is now available and should be used for 2009 year-end RSR export (due March 15, 2010 but can be submitted as early as Feb 2, 2010). Stay tuned for version 5 of CAREWare that will run on new Microsoft operating systems and earlier versions.
11.20.09: Calls to Assess Training Needs on Recruitment/Retention in Care. Two teleconferences are scheduled for early December to get feedback from programs in Public Health Service Regions II (Northeast, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands) and Region VI (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma) on their training needs related to recruiting and retaining in care people living with HIV/AIDS. >> Learn more.
