Two federal antiretroviral treatment guidelines have been updated, reflecting new drug regimens and options. The updated HIV guidelines, developed by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) panels, are updated regularly and include:
  • Recommendations for Use of Antiretroviral Drugs during Pregnancy and Table 6: What to Start: Initial Combination Regimens for Antiretroviral-Naive Pregnant Women and
  • Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Opportunistic Infections in HIV-Infected Adults and Adolescents.
