Funding Opportunity: HRSA - Implementation of Evidence-Informed Models to Improve HIV Health Outcomes for Black Men Who Have Sex with Men

HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau (HRSA/HAB) announces two Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs) soliciting applications for fiscal year (FY) 2018 for a new, 3‐year Special Projects of National Significance Program (SPNS) initiative entitled Implementation of Evidence‐Informed Models to Improve HIV Health Outcomes for Black Men Who Have Sex with Men (BMSM). 

Demonstration Sites

This NOFO is for the initiative's DEMONSTRATION SITES (HRSA-18-047). HRSA/HAB will award grants to adapt and implement evidence‐informed interventions and/or models to engage, link and retain BMSM living with HIV in medical care and supportive services. The proposed interventions and/or models of care will include strategies to integrate behavioral health services, including substance use disorder treatment, with HIV care to specifically address the needs of BMSM and improve their health outcomes. Applications are due February 5, 2018. A pre-application TA webinar on HRSA-18-047 will be held December 21. 

Evaluation and Technical Assistance Provider

This NOFO is for the initiatives EVALUATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDER (HRSA-18-053). Funding will be provided in the form of a cooperative agreement to support one (1) organization for up to four (4) years to lead a multi-site evaluation and provide technical assistance (TA) to a cohort of up to seven (7) demonstration sites funded under HRSA-18-047. Applications are due February 5, 2018. A pre-application TA webinar on HRSA-18-053 will be held December 21.
