CDC has released a report on the risk and prevalence of HIV infection among heterosexuals in the U.S. The report, HIV Infection, Risk, Prevention, and Testing Behaviors Among Heterosexuals at Increased Risk for HIV Infection, National HIV Behavioral Surveillance 17 U.S. Cities, 2016, summarizes findings from CDC' National HIV Behavioral Surveillance (NHBS) data. The report provides data on:

  • Demographic Characteristics, HIV Prevalence, and HIV Testing 
  • Sexual Behaviors
  • Receipt of HIV Prevention Materials and Services
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Substance Use
  • Selected Results of Interest to Current HIV Prevention Efforts and
