Apply for Transgender Health Online Learning

Applications are being accepted to participate in the Project Echo model, a web-based video-conferencing platform to learn from experts about comprehensive primary care for transgender people and subsequently form systems of care with other agencies to support transgender and gender non-conforming patients. The 12-month program begins October 2017. Health centers will now be able to collaborate with other health centers 

Trans ECHO Learning Objectives

  • Improving the ability to provide high-quality care for transgender and gender non-conforming patients.
  • Assessing and expanding capacity to create an affirming environment for transgender and gender non-conforming patients.
  • Building relationships with other organizations that will facilitate peer learning experiences, both during ECHO sessions and beyond.
  • Developing and refining strategies that make it possible to collect and utilize sexual orientation and gender identity data to improve health services and patient outcomes.
