Below is a message to RSR users, from the DART Team, on browser compatibility issues.

Dear Colleagues,

Some of you may have had issues using the RSR Web System. Some system users have reported being unable to make or save changes to the Grantee Report and Provider Report forms. Others have found webpages that do not load properly: distorted column widths, tiny fonts, or extra columns that do not appear in the sample screenshots in the RSR Instruction Manual.

If you have had similar problems with the RSR System, please check your Internet browser. The RSR System is designed to be compatible with Internet Explorer (IE) 8. If you are using another browser or a newer version of Internet Explorer, this could be why you have had trouble using the RSR System.

The simplest and most effective way to resolve this problem is to use a computer that has IE 8 (or IE 9) installed. You can also try these alternatives:

  • Uninstalling the IE 10 or IE 11 updates to “roll back” to IE 8 or IE 9. Note: Don’t forget to turn off the automatic update feature in Windows until after you’ve completed the RSR. If you don’t turn this off, Windows will reinstall the IE 10 or IE 11 updates the next time it updates your computer.
  • Setting the compatibility view in newer versions of Internet Explorer to IE 8.
  • Using Firefox to work on your report.*
  • Uninstalling or temporarily disabling any programs, browser plug-ins, or extensions that change the way your browser handles JavaScript.

If this does not resolve the problem you are having using the RSR System, please contact Data Support at 1(888) 640-9356, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST, Monday–Friday.

Thank you!
