Consumers who have signed up for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act need to turn their attention toward using their coverage in a responsible manner. Using Your New Insurance Coverage on HealthCare.Gov provides guidance on these topics:

  1. Making sure you are covered.
  2. Getting prescription medications.
  3. Getting regular medical care.
  4. Getting emergency care.
  5. Appealing an insurance company decision.
