Approximately 4.1 million of 5.2 million uninsured Health Center clients are eligible to gain new ACA health insurance coverage through Medicaid or subsidized coverage. However, 1.1 million are not as they live in states--mostly in the South--that have not expanded Medicaid eligibility to 138% of the federal poverty level.  These findings, and more, are in a new report, Assessing the Potential Impact of the Affordable Care Act on Uninsured Community Health Center Patients: An Update (May 9, 2014).
