Living with HIV in Rural America: Stigma and Other Barriers to Care

Review of how barriers to health care access, including stigma by rural health care providers and teams, affect the health outcomes of persons living with HIV in the United States. Webinar also offers best practices to address stigma and other barriers, including Project ECHO communities of learning among rural providers to conduct case studies and problem solve, mobile health vans, distance-based clinical expertise via the National Clinician Consultation Center, and use of community health workers/navigators.
