Health care reform, PrEP, and treatment as prevention have drastically changed the context in which organizations provide HIV prevention and care services. Many ASOs and CBOs around the country are evolving to provide medical care, a move that has been critical for enhancing organizational sustainability and improving the HIV outcomes of clients. What has this evolution looked like in the South, a region disproportionately burdened by HIV with unique challenges regarding access to care?

This webinar featured the stories of three organizations in the South that have historic roots as ASOs but have grown to provide medical care, adapting and expanding their missions to meet the needs of their communities given changes in the health care environment. Organizations featured include CrescentCare (New Orleans, LA), My Brother's Keeper (Jackson, MS), and Medical AIDS Outreach (Montgomery, AL).
