The HIV care continuum—sometimes referred to as the HIV treatment cascade—has reshaped the way we look at HIV service delivery. The HIV care continuum is a model that outlines the different steps or stages of HIV care and explores the proportion of individuals living with HIV engaged at each stage.

Improving outcomes across the continuum of care has become a key focus for HIV/AIDS policymakers and service providers. How does the continuum of care impact the way we think about HIV prevention? What does this mean for ASOs and CBOs? In this webinar, Edward M. Gardner, MD, of Denver Public Health and the University of Colorado Denver, discusses the HIV care continuum, how engagement across the continuum impacts prevention, and what this means for ASOs and CBOs.
