A special federal funding initiative called Increasing Access to HIV Care and Treatment has far exceeded its goal of engaging more people in the HIV/AIDS continuum of care, linking 19,589 people to HIV care--13,142 entering care for the first time ever. Results were achieved through $15 million in additional one-time funding to 275 Ryan White Part C clinical sites (134 of which were also funded by the HRSA Health Center program).
