Description

As part of ACA's investigation of service and payment delivery models, HHS is soliciting applications for the Health Care Innovation Awards, Round Two. Approximately $1 billion is available from the CMS Innovation Center to test new payment and service delivery models that will deliver better care and lower costs for Medicare, Medicaid and/or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) enrollees. CMS is specifically seeking new payment and service delivery models in four broad Innovation Categories. One of the categories is models that improve care for populations with specialized needs, with a number of priority areas including persons living with HIV/AIDS.

CMS will be holding informational calls on this funding opportunity. Letters of Intent to Apply will be accepted from June 1-28. Applications are due by August 15, 2013 3pm ET.
