Description

Report is the first release of the National Assessment of Adult Literacy health literacy results based on an assessment using four performance levels: Below Basic, Basic, Intermediate, and Proficient. Relationships between health literacy and background variables (such as educational attainment, age, race/ethnicity, and health insurance coverage) are also examined.
