Topic: Buprenoprine

Buprenorphine is a medication used to treat addiction to opioid drugs, including heroin and narcotic painkillers.

The tools on this page include materials for recruiting and treating patients with buprenorphine. They were contributed largely by participants in the SPNS Buprenorphine Initiative which studied the effectiveness of using this drug to treat opioid abuse in HIV primary care settings (2004-2009).
