TA is targeted to State ADAPs in three areas: (1) clinical quality management; (2) administrative and program-level efficiency and effectiveness; and (3) capacity to collect and report client level data to HRSA under the Ryan White Services Report (RSR).

AETC

The AETCs are the provider training arm of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, and provide targeted multidisciplinary training and education programs for health care providers treating people with HIV/AIDS. The AETC network includes 11 regional training centers, several national centers, and the AETC National Resource Center, which maintains an online repository of clinical reference and training resources from the AETC network.

Warmline/Hotline: National Clinicians Consultation Center: The NCCC provides expert clinical advice on HIV/AIDS management for health care providers and guidance in managing health care worker exposure to HIV/AIDS and hepatitis B or C.

AETC National Center for Expansion of HIV CARE in Minority Communities

AETC National Center for Expansion of HIV CARE in Minority Communities works to strengthen the organizational capacity of HRSA/BPHC Community Health Centers to deliver HIV care and treatment to racial and ethnic minorities living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

The AETC National Multicultural Resource Center

The AETC National Multicultural Resource Center trains clinicians and providers in multicultural HIV/AIDS care.

Other Clinical Care TA Programs and Providers

FXB Center, School of Nursing, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey

Pediatric/Perinatal Guidelines: TA is focused on Ryan White Part D agencies and includes support for national guidelines development and information for programs that address the needs of HIV infected women, infants, children, youth and their families. TA also assists clinicians in such programs and consumers of these services.

FXB Center, School of Nursing, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey

HIV/AIDS Medical Homes: This new program will help Ryan White grantees and service providers to become certified medical homes for persons with HIV/AIDS, and to be recognized as such under new health care reform and reimbursement policies. This technical assistance will also aid grantees as they work with community constituents to identify and demonstrate successful models for retaining people in care. Data and Reporting TA (DART): TA is on data collection, reporting and utilization of high quality client level data for the Ryan White Services Report (RSR) and the new ADAP Data Report (ADR), as well as the meaningful use of Electronic Health Records (EHR). CAREWare, Electronic Handbook (EHB)

CAREWare Software

CAREWare Software: This free scalable software can be used to manage and monitor HIV clinical and supportive care and will quickly produce a completed RDR and the new RSR. Contact the CAREWare Help Desk at: 877-294-3571, Monday - Friday 1pm - 4:00pm Eastern Time, or via email at cwhelp@jprog.com. HRSA Electronic Handbooks

HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHBs)/Web data entry system: EHBs is the electronic method for any grantee of record to report on any deliverable identified in their grant award (e.g., RDR, RSR).

HealthHIV

TA on fiscal management is designed and delivered in response to TA diagnoses of targeted Ryan White grantees. TA is delivered via group and individual TA sessions at locations determined through a needs-based partnership application process and HIV/AIDS Bureau project officer referrals.
