TA Spotlight: Building Capacity to Deliver HIV Care ReGenesis Community Health Care in Spartanburg, SC, a federally qualified health center (FQHC), has been providing primary medical care for four years. They currently have five HIV positive clients and want to increase their capacity to provide HIV services. HRSA/HAB’s SNHC by EPMC recently provided them with technical assistance in clinical management of HIV. ReGenesis was matched with Ms. Lori DeLorenzo, a consultant who then met with clinic staff onsite to support their efforts. ReGenesis’s Dr. Lynette Jumaquio, Medical Director and Quaintina Eison, Quality Nurse Manager, shared with the CAEAR Foundation their plans to act on technical assistance in developing a 3-year strategic plan for expanding HIV services. In phase two of this technical assistance project, Ms. DeLorenzo will be onsite again to conduct protocol development training on the treatment of HIV.
